It seems 3D printing services are popping up all over the place now. Indeed, you can probably pick a 3D printer up for under £500 on Kickstarter (maybe even cheaper in Lidl)! But, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
We use a SLA 3D printer – the Formlabs Form 1+.
SLA stands for StereoLithography, the industry standard for the highest quality 3D printing currently available. The same end result just can’t be achieved by the extruder based machines. Stereolithography is the gold standard for accuracy and resolution in 3D printing for a good reason.
So why are we different?

Sadly, she recently developed a fault (June 2015) and will be returning to her makers for an internal overhaul. When she comes back she will be a Form 1+ in the guise of a Form 1. Same shell, upgraded internals.
